Before renting anything from U-Haul, do a Google search of â€œU-Haul sucksâ€. There youâ€™ll find stories of how U-Haul treats its customers. The day before my reservation, U-Haul moved my pickup location from Oakdale to Modestoâ€”30 miles away. When I called to complain, the representative cancelled my reservation and hung up on me. I finally spoke to a manager who filed a complaint. I was sent an e-mail with an apology and a $50 credit. I never received the $50 credit. By far, the worst service I have ever experienced. I will never do business with U-Haul, again.
