        the puttanesca sauce was drab-colored, bland, not spicy, bold, and deep red. the small portion size made for a poor presentation; nothing more visually stimulating than a mound of sauced pasta topped with freshly grated parmesan cheese. the caesar salad was chopped romaine tossed with a ranch-like dressing? expensive, colorless, bland, and an unaspiring dining experience; no tradition, no soul.
