If I could give ZERO stars, I would. These people will one day hurt someone if they already have not. My first experience going to the outpatient pharmacy at the UCLA Ronald Reagan, and the Pharmacy experience was terrible. They gave me the wrong medicine. Then the wrong Lancets. The supervisor Heidi was on the phone with someone being extremely rude and then she took out her frustrations on me.

Regard for Patient care, drug interactions, patient safety and customer service are all absolutely horrendous. The supervisor is Heidi who seems to be innately an incredibly unhappy, unloved person. I have certain medicine which can only be bought through UCLA because of the type of insurance I have. Heidi is incredibly condescending, patronizing and gives absolutely no regard for patient's health. It's taken months for me to get my medicine needed to stay alive. The doctors prescribe and tell you to be on a medicine right away, then Heidi takes over a month to fill the prescription, and in the meantime, she is agitated about being called for an update. She has lied over and over saying it was the insurance company's fault, the prescribing doctor's fault, and the nursing staff's fault. Then she scolds you for calling for a status update. I'm starting to record her our calls.

Very unprofessional. For a week, they’ve been trying to page their own ER doctor allegedly to change my medication and still haven’t received a response. I’ve called back and forth between them and the ER department at least 3 times now because the ER says the outpatient pharmacy needs to call them, not page them, to which the outpatient pharmacy (4 different pharmacy staff members) say that they don’t do that, they only page them. How can this be? I was seen by the same ER and honestly should’ve just told them to send my medication to a different pharmacy if I would’ve known that it’d take a week with an acute infection to even get treatment for it. They both refuse to call each other to figure this out because the ER dept says that the pharmacy needs to call them and the head doctor will settle it but the pharmacy refuses and says that they don’t do that to which the ER said “they do it all the timeâ€. The only good thing that came out of this is that now I know where to NEVER send my medication to ever again. At least one staff member by the name of Karen of Asian descent I believe has been super helpful. She actually took her time to look at my file and said she would actually get in contact with the doctors at the ER and call me back, something NONE of the other four people I’ve spoken to before this have done) so we’ll see how it goes or if it’ll be another week of calling back and forth and having to end up spending hundreds of dollars on drops that cost $10 to make despite already having insurance and it having to be covered
