(Translated by Google) I had my c-section at this place. From the moment I arrived, everyone was very friendly. The nurse who attended me as soon as I finished the caesarean section, named Hiarpia, was an excellent human being and very professional. Most of the nurses very helpful, especially nurse Diana. Most of them are Asian and they make an effort to communicate in Spanish with respect. They help you quickly when you need them. The food very good. Small hospital with old facilities but very clean.

This Emergency department is problematic for so many reason. My grandmother was taken here via ambulance. She has dementia, bed bound and unable to speak for herself. I asked multiple times to be with her and they refused via phone citing covid. They could say they did everything for her and actually did nothing and Wed have to take their word for it. They refused to allow anyone to make sure my grandmother was safe other than the hospital staff. This is bordering unethical. I know my grandmother can be difficult to take care of because she is fearful due to the dementia. How do I know they didnt use restraints on her? The charge nurse Elaina said she would call with any results but the next phone call I received was for her discharge. What were the results of the bloodwork? No one ever asked me if my grandmother has allergies to medication. Even the front desk asked people to leave the waiting room because of covid but he didnt have his mask over his mouth and nose. The whole thing was a joke. I have to go off of whatever whoever decides to call me information. How will the information get to Kaiser? Who was the doctor that saw her? What were her lab results? What were her vitals signs? Did someone who specializes in what she needs see her? How did the doctor come to the conclusion that she needs antibiotics? What meds were given while she was in there? What is the follow up care? What do we do if the medication doesnt help? Patients who cant speak for themselves need someone to advocate for them who isnt hospital staff, no matter how inconvenient it is for the hospital.
