As a new tenant at 8th + Hope I'm feeling very positive so far. Overall the move in experience was good. Extremely nice and well-maintained building, friendly community and staff! You feel welcome here and most importantly safe, considering the location being in a very busy area. Looking forward to living here

We recently moved into this property and the transition was smooth and seamless. While in LA, I visited many properties to find the right fit for us. However, the most appealing aspect of 8th and Hope became David Ortiz, our property representative. David was sensitive enough to recognize our stress in attempting to find a property in LA while, concurrently, moving from the Midwest. He was understanding, respectful, professional and patient. David expressed no urgency or hard sell, only a desire to represent the property to us in terms that made us comfortable while doing a thorough job of detailing all of the features that were of most importance to us. While we love 8th and Hope, I can not imagine a better way to be introduced to 8th and Hope and LA than through our interaction with David. I can not thank him enough. Further, the seamless nature of the process was made possible, not only by David, but through his continuous communication and interaction with Management. David was in contact with them to ensure availability and the mutual commitments of both parties. This made everything run smoothly. I have seldom experienced Management taking such and active role and, in our case, it really worked well.

I recently moved into 8th and Hope and my experience has been great. My leasing agent Laura Lopez was not only professional but understanding and patient with me throughout the application process. She made sure that my move-in process went smoothly and was responsive whenever I had questions about the apartment. The management team and concierge are also nice and helpful. Apartment units are larger compared to many other DTLA properties in the same price range, and each unit has a terrace. The gym is okay, but I hope that they add some new equipment. The rooftop has a nice view and it has a dog park. This is my first time living in DTLA so I was worried about the noise, but its not too bad. Overall, I like the apartment and am glad I chose 8th and Hope.

I recently moved in to 8th and Hope all thanks to David Ortiz. I was moving from another apartment in DTLA so I had a lot of options when searching. David was very patient with me and showed me several units during our tour. He even showed me the same units again twice because I was uncertain at my decision. I ended up going with the floorplan that most appealed to me, and Im very happy with my decision. David was very communicative throughout the whole application process and made sure that my move-in went smoothly.
