We stopped by the shop for a silver chain, and ended up buying a beautiful gemstone necklace... The proprietor is lovely; he is patient, attentive, and and very interested in helping you find just what you are looking for. I am sorry to see that the shop is closing (I think he is retiring), but the bargains are amazing (hence the necklace!)   Go while you can -- the jewelry is beautiful and the prices are ridiculously low.

My wife and I had a great experience while shopping for our wedding rings.  After searching a lot of different places on the Peninsula, South Bay and SF, we ended getting the perfect ring for my wife that fits nicely with her engagement ring.  For some reason we couldn't find one that fitted with her engagement ring and we realized that it was because the jeweler needs to really take the time to help rather than rush you.  Hodjat was extremely patient and took the time to help us find our ideal rings and the pricing was very reasonable.I would highly recommend stopping by this store when shopping for your own ring(s).

Diamond Boutique by Hodjat is incredibly underrated, I am so glad I walked into this store back in April! I had spent months looking for an engagement ring for my (now) fiance. I spent hours researching online and went to many other stores prepared. However, every store I went to pointed me to buy online. I wanted to see the ring (and diamonds) in person. Not to mention they did not seem knowledgeable and pressured me to buy whatever ring they had in stock. By the time I went to Hodjat I felt very dismayed by my experience with other stores. But Hodjat was just what I needed! He is incredibly knowledgeable and did something that no one else was doing - he educated me. He explained in depth of what I needed to know, beyond just the 4 C's. He was honest and told me straight up what was important and what was a waste of money. He patiently spent hours talking to me, showing me bands and diamonds, and not once did I feel pressured to buy or leave. Hodjat will treat you like family, he is a good, honest, down to earth salesperson. Not to mention the prices here are immensely less since Hodjat buys the diamonds direct. And WOW are his diamonds gorgeous!! He has cuts of diamonds I've never even heard of, you will have to go in and look for yourself! Hodjat made my proposal perfect. My fiance adores his ring (and is caught staring at it), and he never takes it off :-)

My husband took my wedding ring to Hodjat to surprise me with a "new" platinum band with the diamonds from my original ring.  I clearly didn't communicate to him what I wanted when I said "my ring in a platinum setting" and he brought home a beautiful ring that I couldn't keep due to the loss of sentimental value.  I went to see Hodjat and his sincere and knowledgeable character walked me through all options to keep both my original gold setting, but how he can recreate the same ring in platinum while preserving my sentimental values.  Hodjat not only gave me EXACTLY what I wanted, he did it with compassion, devotion to the customer needs, flexibility and 110% customer satisfaction.  His shop is quaint and his prices are very competitive to larger retail stores.  The focus I got from Hodjat in my experience will make him my new jeweler of choice for years to come.
