image Woodlark Residences are a wonderful place to live! The leasing manager, Jeanty, the person in charge of maintenance, Orlando, and the person in charge of landscaping, Luis, are all wonderful! We have lived here for over a year and have nothing but great things to say about each of them. When any issue has arised, they are quick to take care of it. We so appreciate all three of them and we love to call Woodlark home!

image We couldn't leave. We have been at Woodlark for 1yr and we love it. Shoot out to Jeanty, Orlando and Luis. The community is lovely and often they have little monthly gatherings on the lawn with dogs which is perfect way to connect and bring in the weekend. We don't even a have a dog.We love our views, huge deck, fireplace and the trees are all around us.We don't have an issue with the heat/sun as some have mentioned. We did buy ceiling fans  for the bedrooms and Luis/Orlando put them in. Our apartment bathrooms are a bit tired and could use updating but we consider it minor. We looked at newer apartments in other complexes and we are so glad we are at Woodlark. We dicided to stay longer than anticipated. Feels like home.

image Have an apartment that regularly measures over 100 F indoors in the summer. It was not disclosed that the apartment is uninhabitable part of the year. The apartment has no insulation and no way to vent the trapped hot air. It reached dangerously high temperatures. +10 to whatever it is outside. It is both a major health risk and damages my stuff. It's also a security risk because I cant leave my windows or screen door closed without the temp climbing even higher. I left it closed one day and came back to 110f inside. The local building manager and handy men are awesome in trying to help solve the issue in little ways but the owner lives in LA and seams to not care. The owner won't fix the big issue by doing a reroof and adding insulation. They would rather I move out and they pass the problem on to the next victim. They have also altered and changed my contract 3times in one year, which has resulted in increased utility costs. They don't keep their word and they won't fix major issues. Buyer beware. That said. The pool is very nice and so are all the other tenants. If not for the dangerous living conditions I would like the place.

image I've been excited about Woodlark for awhile. A few former tenants sang its praises - and rightfully so:- The property manager, Jeanty, is thoughtful, responsive, and on her A-game. She will work with you to get issues resolved promptly and professionally. She hasn't been here long, but has such great relationships with the tenants. She actually cares and gets to know tenants as people, and gives the complex a boutiquey-feel (despite owned by one of the largest PM corporations).- Five stars to the team, including Luis and Orlando! The complex is older, so when you need a helping hand, they are always available to make wrongs right. They keep the grounds and the buildings lush and comfortable.- You will feel very safe in the area. There are security cameras and the neighbors keep a watchful eye. Safety is a huge factor in my living in Marin, and even friends I have who curiously drive around get noticed.- Accessible yet quiet! Woodlark is walkable, to downtown, trails, Kentfield, grocery store (13 mins), and the creek.- Beautiful amenities. Heated pool, showers, community events, new gym, large decks. I also love the modern feel of all the apartments - they look updated.Drawbacks:- Prior tenants I've spoken to have mentioned that if you live near dog(s), you might hear them too well (this is the only complaint I've heard from them). They are installing double-pane windows in all the units so that will most likely fix the issue.- Poor insulation. I've noticed that the temperature drops fairly quickly after heating the apartment. Probably will also be fixed with the new windows.- GE appliances look nice and perhaps energy efficient but don't seem like they're made to last...
