I can't rate Sandra and her business highly enough, having been on both ends in the past, as both tenant and as an employer of a property manager. I observed how perfectly Sandra handled being in the middle of those two sources of demands and I think she's perfectly suited to the position. It requires a lot of flexibility, patience and judgment and she seems to do it effortlessly and always cheerfully. Her maintenance person, Colin Munroe, is also amazing and added a huge value to my experience as a tenant with his skills and brilliant ideas on whatever I asked him to do, whether it was related to the property or on the side.

I rented a house for several years in San Anselmo from Palmaris Property Management and had a wonderful experience. I found Sandra to be very responsive whenever I had an issue or a problem, and as I result I was able to keep the house in good shape. This was true even when there was a serious plumbing emergency. She got to it immediately, and saved the house from much more serious damage. But even more than that, I found her a pleasure to work with. She cares about her tenants.

Sandra Bully--is very insulting, terrible at getting the work done. Has no respect for tenants and harasses them when she feels like it. Beware. Dishonest. Manipulative. Not nice. Really beware. And ...she does not like dogs. If you rent from her, be careful. If you hire her to manage your property, you better check often to make sure she does not let it deteriorate. She does the bait and switch. She accuses other people of not doing things that she is actually responsible for doing. Beware. If you want to go on with your life, do not work with Sandra Bully.

After making a best effort as a DIY landlord (never again!) it became clear that I needed to find an agent for my house in Corte Madera. After interviewing a few companies in the area I decided to go with Palmaris, as I got a good vibe from the owner of the company, (Sandra) who provided me everything I needed to know from finding good tenants to helping me understand the all the financial implications of renting out my place. I don't write a lot of reviews but in this case I wanted to share the really good experience I've had with this firm. Without hesitation, I'd recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a professional, reliable, and responsive resource to make everything as painless as possible. After they put my ad up the place was rented in a week and the tenants have been first rate.One other thing I liked about Palmaris is that the owner is the primary agent. I have heard some tales of woe about larger firms that pawn off owners to the agent pool after signing the contract, yikes. Make sure that whoever you go with has their Broker's license, understands real estate law, is connected to a network of service vendors (this too was godsend when I had a backed up sewer pipe on a holiday weekend that got fixed on the day of the disaster), and is someone with a personal touch that you can trust in the long run.
