Poor customer service and didn't follow through with our agreements. I regret purchasing our toy hauler here.
I should've abandoned the idea of purchasing here when one of the sales associates became upset in a text message that we didn't purchase the trailer the day we told him we'd stop by to check it out more.
We agreed to purchase with some stipulations. We wanted a sheet of veneer that matched the kitchen cabinets because one of the cheesy tape seams was already failing. They told me they checked it out and that wouldn't be a problem. After a year of checking in on it, they never came through. They were always going through employees in that role and I had to start over multiple times. Every month I was checking in and they never came through.
One of the windows had a defect. When we signed paperwork, I was told they were going to fix it before delivery. It never happened. Upon delivery, I was assured they'd be able to fix it once they got the part. They'd even change it in the street so we didn't have to unhook. When I went to schedule that, I found they never ordered the window and they'd need the trailer for at least a month. I never continued to get it fixed because of the following situation. I just didn't trust them to move the trailer around.
They agreed to deliver the trailer because I was going to install a Reese Goosebox and I didn't have the fifth-wheel attachment in my truck. When it was delivered, the left mid jack was bent approximately 10 degrees when it was struck during the drive over. We also noticed that when they used the fork lift on other trailers there, they'd frequently drag the front jacks on the ground. The transport guy seemed unphased by the stress being applied to the front jacks.
After a year of monthly calls to try to rectify these problems, I've given up. We had multiple problems with the trailer and I decided to fix it myself or have a mobile tech come out if I really wanted Forest River to cover the cost. Do yourself a favor and try to find a better dealership, you don't want to feel disgusted by the thought of your dealership every time you look at your trailer.
