Albatros Mexican Food

Albatros.. Albatros you let me down. I have tried many Albatros and loved pretty much all of them except for this one. I first tried Albatros in Riverside and loved ordering the carne asada nachos or carne fries Delicious! I ordered a beef burrito from the location in Lake forest. When I first walked in the server seem to not care that I was there. It was one of the few times I felt I was a hassle to the server. He took my order and continued to talk in spanish with his co-worker. I did not mind this too much. It took a while for them to cook this burrito even though there was no one else in the restaurant. I thought about just leaving waiting for my order. My order came and I took a bit of my small burrito. I expected to have a mouthful of beef, but I got lettuce and some other fillings. It tasted more sour than savoury. I stared at the open burrito and tried hard to find some trace of meat, no luck. I was shocked. How could this be the Albatros I once loved? Not sure if this was a fluke one time bad experience, but I don't think I will try this location again. Who knows one day I may try it and write a new review...

Pretty good food. They serve a lot so be prepared to get stuffed
