I have been coming here for nearly 20 years, but something has gone wrong here. I purchased two valve stems (without washers - which I needed) from Niagra plumbing. I proceeded to another plumbing store nearby to try to find the requisite washers. The other plumbing store showed me their valve stems - which DO include the washers. They told me no one can buy those washers on their own; they ONLY come WITH the stems. I felt like I had been given a product that was incomplete and could not fix the problem - I went back to Niagra to try to return the valve stems. I explained the situation in detail and the owner was very rude and threw up his hands and said, 'no refunds, store credit ONLY!'. I told him I needed a refund of some kind, regardless. I tried to explain the situation again and that I'd just been into his store 20 minutes earlier and given incomplete parts. He once again threw up his hands and said in a sarcastic manner 'it's store policy!!'. I realized he would not budge and he was being unreasonable; I left the valve stems with him and I told him I did not want the store credit. I will never go back there, so what good is store credit to me?
