Atlas Barbell Club is the place you go to when you want to work on technique. Coach Albert and Coach Emily take the time to correct and encourage you. They focus a lot on each move when it comes to Olympic lifting. When working on any barbell move one must be willing to slow down, leave your ego at the door, and start with light weight until the movement comes naturally. This is paramount and both coaches are adamant about this. A great deal of focus is on proper stretching, this helps avoid injury which is also a great thing especially if you want to be 80 years old one day and still putting up some nice power cleans.In addition, Atlas Barbell and KBC Crossfit share a building. Barbell Club is a great transition for those of us that also want to do crossfit. Together, they are a great combination for anyone who is wanting to compete. I highly recommend Atlas Barbell.
