I called Thermador for an old model blower repair, and was referrer to Jags and A & B APPLIANCE REPAIR. I contacted both. A & B APPLIANCE REPAIR is not serving bay area and at least notified me about it via email.I left two messages to Jags, and never get any reply.

Juan has come to our home twice; the first to service our Viking stove over 13 years ago, and the second time was last week to service our Fisher and Paykel dishwasher and again our Viking stove.  He was quick and did an excellent job.  I hardly recommend Jags Appliance Repair.

I didn't pick Jags, but Viking did.  I bought a new Viking stove, and the person who installed it first did not install an anti tipping bracket. Later upon a home inspection, our home inspector commented that we needed this installed for safety.  I called the store where I bought the stove from, they called Viking, and apparently Jags was called.  Jags called me and said that they ordered the part, and then we made an appointment to get it installed.  Easy peasy, so far so good.  On the day of the appointment (first day that I had to take off at work to stay home), the repairman showed up, and he was super apologetic and said that he forgot the anti tipping bracket that was ordered at the office and that he could not install it.  He said sorry, it is so easy to install if I just had it, but that he'd have to come back with it later.  Fine.  He leaves, and I call the office to reschedule the appointment.  The appointment gets rescheduled.  On the second appointment (2nd day off from work), he shows up and tells me that this isn't really his job, he's not a contractor, he just repairs appliances.  He was getting increasingly upset for some reason.  He said that the anti tipping bracket needs to be installed into a stud, and he didn't have a stud finder. I was trying to talk to him so that I could get my stud finder just to see if there was a stud behind my stove area, because if there wasn't one, I agree that it shouldn't be installed by him.  He wouldn't let me talk, he was yelling that he told Viking he doesn't do this, and that if he hits a pipe then it would be his liability.  I asked him to take the volume down, and that I wasn't sure why he was so upset.  I asked him, why are you yelling at me?  He yelled that he wasn't yelling at me.  More back and forth with me being yelled at in my home.  I just asked him to leave, he left the bracket and told me to hire a contractor to get it installed.  This was beyond frustrating, and a little bit scary being at home by myself with someone being angry at me about installing something on my stove.  Beyond Ridiculous.

I can't say how efficient Jags is but their phone response could be better.  I left two long detailed messages before I got a return call. Then a couple of more calls to try to set up an appointment.  One level of my Decor warming oven doesn't work and a GE microwave  needs a new lightbulb which is in a difficult place for me to change.  The phone person said that they could help with my decor warming oven, but they needed to know how old it was (I had previously given them the serial number twice ) , and they don't repair GE microwaves.  I know I only need the lightbulb replaced in the microwave , but"if the technician has time he 'might' repair the lightbulb but we don't work on GE". This left me thinking I might have to call another appliance person to get the microwave lightbulb repaired.  Sorry jag I wish you could be more helpful.
