The leadership course I took at the Simon Leadership Alliance taught me how to ask the important questions. I learned how to re-examine things. It doesnt mean that youre not going to be hit with problems or situations, but you will have the tools and youll understand how to look at it from a better mindset. For me, I would say that its taught me to use my energy and be purposeful with it.
I also learned that Im not the only person dealing with certain things. Its very easy to feel like its just a "you problem" or youre the only one dealing with it and thats how you start to spiral.
But this course and having a community taught me that theres so many other people who are dealing with the same things. And its okay to have a problem. You cant have a solution if you dont have a problem. Simon is an amazing person with a wealth of knowledge. I would 100% recommend taking one (or all!) of his courses.
