Exceptional experience! My daughter needed 4 teeth pulled. The Dr and his staff were really great with my 8 yr old. The apt was very efficient. The Dr really listened to my daughter and when she emotionally struggled to have the 3-4th tooth removed he gave me great advise, which was to make the experience less stressful for her and create a fear of the dentist we should opt to stop after 2 were removed since my Daughter was upset and uncomfortable. I've dealt with a lot of Drs and nurses and he was by far one of the best with my daughter. Very personable, empathetic, very experienced with dealing with children. I was impressed that a traumatic event could be buffered so well by his bedside manner.

Be Careful! And make sure of the cost you have to pay...You might have faced this sentence in any medical service provider after a while of getting your service, but not on the day of service:"I'm sorry, the amount we asked you was an estimation as a MAGIC word, and now you have to pay more $....."I expect Dr. Royes to train his employees to explain any potential extra charge to his patients. :(

I had an implant done by Dr. Royce -- I cannot say enough about how much I loved him and his office staff. The women at the front desk were very friendly and very accommodating throughout the year-long process, and all of them (Dr. Royce in particular) have a great sense of humor, which is important to me. Dr. Royce took the time to explain everything to me and to answer all my questions as well, which I really appreciated; I never felt like he was in hurry or wanted to get me in and out. He came very, very highly recommended by my regular dental office, and with very good reason. I've recommended him to all and sundry!

Although the personnel was nice Dr. Royse himself really needs to work on how he addresses his potential patients. I came in having a quite extensive history of congenital issues (most fixed at birth mind you) and once I disclosed that history my visit lasted no more than 10 minutes. He started trying to talk me into getting my surgery at a hospital (read higher insurance / personal cost) which is unnecessary as I already had one of my wisdom teeth pulled out back home without any issue in the regular clinical setting. In addition Dr.Royse went to the length of saying " I was not like NORMAL people" which to me is very unprofessional. If he hesitated to extract my teeth he can just say so straight up without implying other things , needless to say I left that consult feeling insulted by Dr. Royse. I could tell that his staff felt that his comment was inappropiate as they were really apologetic as I asked for my records to be given to me. Now im stuck with a medical bill that I personally feel I should NOT be paying as I am literally paying for getting insulted. I will be taking my case and money elsewhere where they can at the very least be respectful to their patients.

I saw Dr Royce for a extraction of a fractured tooth.  The front office staff was rude from the start.  I came back a month after having some post op problems. My mouth was hurting incredibly bad I had splinters (little piece of bone) growing through my gums. I saw my regular dentist first not knowing it was from the extraction and she told me they were embedded very badly and it would probably take surgery to remove everything. When I came back to see him he was incredibly rude would not take any responsibility that maybe something had happened due to his extraction job. I've never been treated so rudely I got up out of the chair in the middle examination and left with tears in my eyes along with my four-year-old little boy who was very worried about his mom. You never want to dentist who is already being rude to you taking tools inside your mouth fixing a painful problem he thinks you're overreacting for. His timing was horrible as he was working inside my mouth was telling me I was overreacting   He was rude, Abrupt, and aggressive. Not good traits for someone working in your mouth. I would of left no stars but it wouldn't let me.
