Arrived mercifully earlier then expected and handled the emergency quickly, masterfully and without complaint despite having to haul an industrial size drain cleaner up and down my properties "unique" layout which includes 55 wooden steps and a seasonally snow covered bride. Gotta love the mountains.

I also posted this review under the "other" company name he uses, called Drain Aid.
Called Rick O'Brien from
Crestline Plumbing and Drain Cleaning to clear out main drain which was backing up (again) due to tree roots going through pipe. He said he'd charge $200 to clear the drain. He arrived on time and ran his drain cleaner through, said it should be good now, THEN ran a camera down and when it came to the root blockage it was clear that little had changed. The blockage was covering 90+% of the of the passage, and the roots were very thin and tiny, but there were a LOT of them. He said maybe it'll require a 2nd pass of the rotary tool, but that he would have to charge more than double the original quoted amount of approx $200 to clear the drain. Why more than double, I asked? Because he said he wasn't planning on running it through twice and it'll take more of his time. He had already packed up this massive 300lb drain cleaner (which I had to help him lift into the build-up) into the truck, before he checked his work. We checked the toilet and ran water through, and it DID pass through, but at still 90% blocked, how long would that last?
I also noted the name on the truck was different from the company name I contacted, which was Crestline Plumbing and Drain Cleaning, which had good reviews. Drain Aid, not so much. He arrived in a "Drain Aid" truck. I'm pretty sure the company name changed because of the lousy rating he has for Drain Aid.
He even wrote his own review under Drain Aid, giving, of course, 5-stars. Not even THAT helped his rating much.
So he didn't do the job properly the first time, and tried to extort double the money, so he could do it again, maybe properly this time? I said I'm going to pass and when it happens again, will absolutely call someone else. Service: Drain unblocking

He arrived quickly, found the problem, went over the service, and no more did I say "ok" to the repairs and he was basically done! No one else could come out today, and I had to have all the water shut off to my house early this morning. I appreciate you and your helper! Thank you!
