Summary: it's been over 16 months since measures taken and the initial payment went in for a pantry cabinet. We are still without a complete pantry cabinet (they even have a door of one of my other kitchen cabinets they were going to use to color match), and the communications have been null for weeks. Sean and team seem good people, and seem like they have experience and can create quality work, but have had a series of issues when it comes to what we all thought was a simple project. These issues include poor measuring, personnel rotation, poor communication, incorrect tools when coming for installation, among others. We received an initial cabinet around 6 months after the promised delivery date, and was made with incorrect measures and simply didn't fit the space. They tries installing, scratched the floors by accident, and noticed it was way too large after it was already in the kitchen. They even proposed we destroy the windows so it fit. Thankfully, they realized that the measurements were wrong and took the pantry cabinet back. Months later they came with a different cabinet but measured in the truck before installing and realized that some measures were also wrong. They came again with the modified cabinet, left it without doors or shelves, and promised a secured installation later. We also agreed about a opening a hole for electricity, the shelves, the crown, and to reinforce the drawers since they were bending. When they came for installation (no doors or shelves still), they realized that still there were some incorrect measures and promised a fixed cabinet. This was in August 2021. Ever since we've followed up via email and phone, and every so often we get a response that it should be ready in the next week or so (last one was in early February) We still have the hope we will receive the cabinet, but since the delivery keeps being pushed and we have not received communications for a while, it seems like we will not get what we have been discussing. We had Sean and his team remodel our bathroom and we could not be happier with the results. The amount of detailed questions they asked to make sure everything was perfect no other contractor asked us nor did the designer we were working with before we found S&C. If you want someone who is down to earth and will explain every last detail than I definitely recommend Sean. We have already rescheduled another estimate for our kitchen! Sean and his company S&C Construction did a roofing inspection and report for my wife and I after moving into a 1920s home. He was extremely prompt, professional, and kind. His work was very detailed and he took his time. I would highly recommend giving S&C construction your business. Any further needs I have that require a licensed contractor will be done through Sean! Sean and his crews did a great job on my kitchen and master bath upgrade. Sean was honest and up front about everything and gave a very competitive bid. Sean did an amazing job on the travertine tile shower and kitchen backsplash. The frame-less glass shower was also extremely nice. It took me some time to get the granite selections for the kitchen because I am picky. He never rushed me or put me on a timeline. The crews cleaned up daily and was just a great overall experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
