I had been trying to find a good attorney outside of my own zip code for quite a while and when I originally found Ms Femino I thought I had really made a great discovery . But oh was I wrong,!! When I first contacted the law officea I was warmly put at total ease by the receptionist "Colleen" who was so empathetic and really seemed to care about my situation and I felt really comfortable about trusting my Case with Ms Femino after speaking with Colleen .for an extended amount of time The next day I made contact with Ms Femino who seemed just as nic cand understanding as her receptionist . So I was very relieved . Ms Femino agreed to help me out on a limited scope basis and settled at a $1,000 for the retainer fee . I sent Ms Femino two installements of $500 each. The next day I asked if Ms Femino would file a substatution of attorney form and Ms. Femino assured me in an email that she had already mailed the appropriate forms to my local courts . SHE LIED ..NO SUBSTATUTION OF ATTORNEY FORM WAS EVER FILED!! The day of court Ms Femino never even showed up for court . And it really put me in a bad position with the courts . So I called Ms Femino office and spoke with Misty this time. Misty was very nice and appologised for the inconvenience I had suffered and then informed me that Ms Femino had been in a some terrable auto accident that morning and was hospitalized i at Enlo Medical Center. THAT TOO WAS A LIE !! I know this because after Misty told me Ms Femino was in the hospital I called Enlo Medical Center and they had no Stephana Femino that had been admitted into their facility nor yad ever he Over the course of the next week and a half I have only been able to speak to the sweet Colleen who has assured me she would get my money back for me but I am finding out she is just a big of can artist as her boss. It blows my mind that an officer of the court would abandon their client and just keep their money without even an apology . There is a Client Security Trust Fund at the Ca Bar Association that is a fairly simple form that I am filing that should get money back back. Tye money Ms Femino is trying to swendle me out of!! Also I am filing a complaint against her as well And suggest anybody who has been manipulated by this crook to do the same . I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU HIRE A DIFFERNT ATTORNEY BESIDS MS FEMINO OR YOU MAY BE SORRY !! in closing let me say this .I noticed Ms Femino also was involved in a Train Wreck" according to another dissatisfied client of Ms Feminos. obviously another excuse she used to burn another unsuspecting client who trusted this woman with their money and their time . I wonder how long the bar will allow this terrable person to conduct business as an attorney in California ? I hope not long.

I'm so bummed. Seems very scattered. Does not respond. Made promises she does not keep. I'm not sure what is wrong, but she dropped the ball and I could not get ahold of her. Had to hire another attorney the day before court. A Train wreck.

Top notch attorney always there to help when in a bind. Highly recommend Stephana and her staff. Hard working for there clients and excellent people to deal with. Thank you for all the advice and help over the yesrs.
