US Bank is by far the worst bank Ive ever done business with.
If you ever open an account here, especially HELOC, do note that they make it impossibly hard to pay it off and close the account.
It took us a few months of calling, visiting the branch office, and probably tens of hours on the phone to be able to pay it off.
Ive never experienced a bank treat its customers this poorly. They wouldnt let us close the account and kept charging us fees without our knowledge and it took us talking to a lawyer to be able to make progress.
Please do yourself a favor and never ever do business with this bank. US bank is one of the reasons why banks have such a poor reputation. They work hard to earn it.

I came into the branch to follow up on a credit card application and spoke with a man in the front. He wasn't able to give me more information (or use systems to check why I was denied for a certain card). He also inappropriately asked me how old I am (completely out of left field and off topic). I also saw the woman behind the counter smirking as well. Actually abysmal customer service.
