Alpha Omega Shutter Instlltns

I was unfortunately very disappointed in the work I had completed by Alpha Omega Blinds and Shutters in Bakersfield, CA. During my consultation, I communicated “safety” as my main priority. At the time my consultation, my son was around 8 months old (and is now a very active 18 month old). I ultimately chose to have a combination of cordless blinds and shades installed throughout my new home. The installation process was fast and clean, however, I was surprised to see that the “cordless” blinds were not 100% cordless. The function of opening and closing the blinds does utilize cords; I was frustrated that this was never communicated with me, as I would have chose a different window treatment. The shades were beautiful and Alpha Omega was quick to reorder one of the shades that was damaged; however, the process of opening/closing the shades utilizes a pull chain, which is located at the bottom of the window, and is located only a foot above the floor - perfect height for my son’s reach. This became an extremely dangerous situation with my son, as he loved to play/pull/hang from these chains. Again, I had communicated the safety features as my #1 priority during the consultation. After expressing my concerns about the pull chains to Alpha Omega, they told me that I could purchase the motorized shades (they would provide an additional quote) which would ultimately allow us to remove the pull chains. After this conversation I made several attempts via email/phone calls, and did actually speak to both owners on different occasions. I attempted to fix this for over 7 months and never received a quote for the motorized shades; they never called me back to help resolve this issue (most recent call about a month ago). I have since removed the chains and am in the process of receiving quotes from different blind/shutter businesses in the Bakersfield area to have all of the shades replaced. Overall, I feel that Alpha Omega has extremely poor communication. I also feel that my satisfaction as a customer, and my child’s safety, was not a priority in their work, and for those reasons, I would not recommend their services.

Very clean and detail oriented. It's wonderful to have someone come in and do work at your home and pick up after themselves. Wood recommend very highly. Super nice to work with

Couldn't be happier. My shutters are so beautiful and have absolutely increased my homes value. Excellent service, and locally owned! Would highly recommend.
