Where do I begin? We are so pleased with our custom wood floor. I searched high and low, all over Orange County and LA for a very specific wood floorvery dark, contemporary UV-oil finish (NOT old-school polyurethane) so that any scratches could be easily repaired, current wide plank style, lots of character, European Oak and consistent color that actually matched the sample Synfonia was the one company that had all. AJ, who runs the Anaheim company, was very friendly, told me how Synfonias wood was different and, quite frankly, superior. My family and I even saw my floor being made. Additionally, AJ wouldnt deliver anything but the best quality for my family of many kids and many pets. Everyday I look at the floor, I just love it, and get so many compliments. The floor is very custom and I had a say in it allfrom the color choice to level of hand scraping to the solid, exquisite treads (you dont find almost anywhere). I know Synfonia was the best choice out there, and with UV oil, I can easily take care of it. Also, because Synfonia is a local company, I can drive up, if I ever need anything more. Having accessibility is important, compared to a company perhaps in Indonesia or something, where youre going through a chain of people and have no control (not to mention not even knowing whats in the wood of many other companies not in the U.S.). Also, personal follow-up after my floor was installed was exceptional. The only left now is installing our metal glass rail next week to make the project perfectly complete! My wife and I spent hours searching for quality wood floors. We wasted time and money buying cheaper wood products not made in the USA. Our installer finally referred us to AJ at Synfonia in Anaheim. He was a pleasure to work with and extremely knowledgeable about all wood products. After listening and making our choice to go with a "made in America" custom product we could not be happier. The wood is beyond quality and each piece was useable with no splits or ugly knot holes like the others we looked at. Our floor wood was made to our specifications and it turned out beautifully. I can't thank AJ and his team enough for taking the time to educate us, inform, and show us the answer to our searching. If you want a quality wood floor don't look any further than Synfonia because they are the best around.
