Called Tepco out to repair/replace a hot water heater. Cisco gave me an estimate over the phone and told me that if they could get it done in an hour, I was looking at around $1067, including a couple of modifications they were going to have to make. He told my manager on site that it would be a little over $1000. He did not leave us any written estimates. I approved the job. When I got the invoice, it was $1524. That is almost 50% over what I was quoted. The invoice reflected that it took them an extra half hour in labor. Ok, fair enough, I can understand that sometimes plumbing can get away from you. That amounted to $132 extra in labor. Giving that it was still $325 or 30% higher than I was quoted. Laura gave me some excuses and said that Cisco probably misquoted but she was willing to drop the labor for the apprentice on the job. That was $120. I would be very wary of using this company and as one other reviewer stated, get it in writing. At best, they don't have the experience to bid a job and factor in unexpected issues and come close or at worst, they are shady characters. I won't use them again.

TEPCO was did a great job installing a hot water recirculation system. They were very knowledgeable, on time, professional and everything else you would want in a plumbing company. Good people.

We called them initially to replace a broken pedestal sink, as they were recommended ACE Hardware as we needed a quick service and our previous attemp to find someone resulted in an exorbitant quote (EXORBITANT) and unavailability by others. They were friendly and quick, and the appointment was quickly arranged and replacement done with no fuss or issues. And the price was excellent. The staff wo came to do the work were very friendly and respectful of the home and us. They also worked quickly and competently. So we called them to replace a garbage disposal and got the appointment immediately and the experience was the same. They even fixed a stuck faucet while they were at it.
