I bought a phone from Gotta Go Wireless on 22nd, in Tucson. Long story short, there was an extra $30.00 on my bill that I assumed was the upgrade fee that Verizon now charges. (Gotta love Verizon too...)
When I got my next bill from Verizon, the upgrade fee was on it. A call to Verizon, followed by a review of my bill form Go Wireless, revealed that Go Wireless charged me $30.00 to move my contacts, pictures, etc. over to my new phone.
The worst part about this is, I sat there and watched their representative do it and I even asked him what he was doing - and he told me. He never mentioned that he was going to charge me $30.00 for a fifteen minute procedure that I would have done myself.
I called the store at least three different times to resolve this issue. I got the run around every time ("You need to talk to... He'll be in at...") and I was assured someone would get back to me. That never happened.
At this point I've written off the $30.00. Gotta Go Wireless has simply been added to my list of people that will never do business with again.
