The worst experience I've ever had as a consumer. Came prepared with all necessary documentation to apply for a $550,000.00 construction loan in August 2021 and was told it would take 45 - 60 days to close... I was still not funded by January 2022. National Bank of Arizona drug their feet through the process, dropped balls, made empty promises of "two more weeks" multiple times, and were extremely uncommunicative and dismissive of all attempts to try to move the process along. After bringing my concerns to upper management, we were given the offer to waive ~$1,200 of closing costs, but I could not bring myself to trust them with my business after so much miscommunication and misleading over the last 5 months. There are many other banks in Tucson to choose from - choose someone besides National Bank of Arizona.

Thought maybe of opening an account and taking advantage of the foreign currency exchange service they offer, but sad to say the staff must not be in sync because information given shouldn't be different from one banker to another.. I would give a 0 stars if the option was available. I really don't appreciate being lied to and driving 40 miles only to be turned away for services I asked about on a phone call to verify that everything was going to go smoothly, I was assured not once but twice by two different ladies , then was told something different when I arrived at the branch to go through with setting up a new membership. Terrible and really discouraged about it all.

They are great to transact with. However the phone--they will not pick up, called 6 tomes waited 30 minutes. gave up.
