Absolutely terrible customer service. Ordered a 10 Inch Rockford P3 Subwoofer from Amazon. Amazon stated:
Condition: Used - Very Good - Looks and functions as if it were new. Item may not come in original packaging.
What did I receive? A completely non-functional, frozen in place subwoofer with chunks of the cone missing and the metal cone all scratched up. I basically paid about $200 for a paper weight and stickers.
Amazon is currently off-line with their customer service, so I called Rockford Fosgate head quarters expecting great customer service from a company that was my favorite provider of car audio for many years.
The manager quickly told me there is nothing they can do to help me since I live in Puerto Rico. They also said they will not be shipping me anything because I live in Puerto Rico. I guess your "international" customers don't matter enough to provide thorough customer service to.
I also thoroughly explained how much time this situation wasted and how much of an inconvenience this was for me as well, and I requested if they could ship me something this time as an exception due to the situation, and I was quickly met with a "No".
After wasting an hour driving to my P.O Box to pickup this item, and then spending 45 minutes mounting it up to discover it was completely non-functional was a huge let-down.
I thought the CEO Bill Jackson would provide better customer service than this. After having been a Rockford customer for over a decade I really expected top notch customer service from Rockord Fosgate, what a let down. I guess I will find another company now

I've been using Rockford products since age 16, and 15 years later nothing has changed. Hands down best products in the game. First time ever having a customer service inquiry, they're very prompt with communication and went above and beyond for me. Thank you!
