I had higher hopes for this hotel. It is clearly a very tired building that shows its age.
There is one elevator, so depending on where your room is, you may have quite a walk to get there.
Our room overlooked the lake, which was very pretty. There are small balconies so you can sit outside.
The staff were all friendly, although it did take several minutes to be greeted upon arrival, even with no guests waiting ahead of us.
There is no room service, so if you want food, you have one option unless you bring your own. We had crab cakes for the starter, and I was not impressed. My main was a cheeseburger, which was pretty good.
All in all, I would not stay here again if other options are available.

Really like this place with friendly staff and delicious food as well as a very pleasant surrounding. Highly recommended to stay when visiting Phoenix!

My stay at the Millennium started off great when I was welcomed and checked in by Wedly! What a positive experience to start my stay! The room was very nice, clean and modern.
The restaurant in the hotel was surprisingly good. I would recommend that restaurant to people living in the Scottsdale area full time, it is that good. Heated pool - which I did not use - looked very inviting. I can image a family really enjoying the pool area. Irma at the restaurant was also very friendly and helpful recommending great dishes to try off of the menu. I didn't have any need for anything else, so I didn't really have any contact with housekeeping or other employees, but, again, the room looked great when I arrived. The location is quiet for the most part and is located about 3 miles to Old Town Scottsdale - where there was plenty of shopping and food to choose from.

It is located on the road, you can not miss it, there are restaurants and stores within working distance. Lodged here, and it was not bad. We get free water every morning and coffee. They have a microwave that serves the whole hotel at the gift shop. The housekeepers did a great job of cleaning and sanitizing, yet we saw bugs in our room. We stayed on the first floor, our room wasn't sound proof, we woke up to the noise of the workers fixing the vending machine.
