I have been calling customer service for 3 days and can not get anyone on the phone to help close an account. I call here to see if I can get helps and all I got was kick back and told my tone was upsetting. I did not rise my voice nor did I use one curse word' This company and branch will not help you close accounts so you can get your money.

E trade would not take my calls , locally Scottsdale, nor Web site. Could
not transfer money. Waited on line for Chat, and then on the phone and message was more than an hour wait. I am moving my account which is high 6 numbers after 20 yrs. My suggestion : USE ANOTHER COMPANY

I opened and account for day trading. Since the get go its been nothing but problem and a poor platform all around. I wire transferred money into the account, and now 3 days later. Still no money. Today alone I lost about $6000.00 in income because the funds arent available. To put that into perspective, my TD Ameritrade account I transferred money into, and out of 2 times in the amount time its taken for my money with E*TRADE that still hasnt shown up yet. Customer service takes a minimum of 45 min to an hour to get a hold of. Today I tried live chat the wait time was as 81 minutes. The website automatically logs you out, so after 30 mins I was kicked out of the queue. Save yourself the head ache and go somewhere else!!!

Horrible Experience. I have been with Schwab since 1980's and decided i would like a change. Started couple of accounts with E-Trade.. I can't get a hold of anyone, I tried to reach them by phone, e-mail, chat you name it. Took 45 minutes at a time out of my busy schedule on hold and I GAVE UP!..
STAY AWAY.. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU or YOUR INVESTMENTS!!!
