I tend to never review places but NEVER EVER EVER use budget truck rental- this site or any other. I set up a truck and car trailer for a move across the country last week- booked a month early. TWO DAYS prior the Indian school site called and told me they had a truck but no car trailer. The store manager out me contact with the regional inventory manager who literally blamed me for actually expecting the rental equipment to be available as reserved. In fact they had none in the entire state. I was told the car trailers are like the blankets, accessories that might or might not be available. He acted like I was crazy to assume that the equipment would be available much like I would expect with a hotel. He blamed me for not reading the rental agreement more carefully which essentially says reservations with budget are more suggestions than actually meaningful reservations. Their national customer service has been equally useless and echoed the statement about the meaningless nature of reservations. I was forced to go with another company last minute for twice the price (was essentially the same at the time of booking though). It was amazing I found anything really.

BAD BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE . WE RENTED A TRUCK IN LAS VEGAS AND THE TRUCK HAD SO MANY MAJOR ISSUES. THE TRUCK'S ALIGNMENT WAS SO BAD THAT THE TRUCK ALMOST KILLED US BY DRIVING US OFF THE ROAD!! GAS GAUGE WAS BROKE, LOW ON TRANSMISSION FLUID!!
YOU GET MY POINT SO WHEN WE TOOK TO DROP OFF THE TRUCK AND TO TRY AND EXPLAIN WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE TRUCK THE GUY WORKING THEIR WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT WE WERE TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO HIM! WE SHOWED HIM A $54.00 GAS RECEIPT FROM OUR DEBIT CARD SHOWING WE HAD JUST FILLED IT UP BUT GAS GAUGE WOULD GO NO FURTHER THAN 3/4 FULL SO IT LOOKED LIKE WE WERE TRYING TO GET OUT OF PAYING GAS BUT THE JERK EMPLOYEE WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH IT! HE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL AND KICKED US OFF THE PROPERTY TELLING US THAT WE WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE "LOW GAS GAUGE"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THAT WAS A SIMPLE FIX WE CALLED AND DISPUTED THE CHARGES WITH OUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY DUE TO THE PROBLEMS WE HAD WITH THE TRUCK AND ALL THE PROBLEMS WE HAD! BUDGET IS LUCKY WE ARE NOT TAKING FUTURE ACTION WITH THIS AND WE WILL NOT EVER EVER RENT A TRUCK FROM BUDGET AGAIN AND WE RENTED A TRUCK FROM BUDGET AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK! OUR BUSINESS IS GOING ELSE WHERE AND AS LONG AS I AM ALIVE I WILL LET PEOPLE KNOW NOT TO DEAL WITH BUDGET TRUCK RENTAL UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING TREATED UNPROFESSIONAL AND LIKE CRAP! GOOD DAY!!
