Firehouse Subs Mountainside Plaza

It was a noticeable change in amount of meat on the sandwich. Price is a little high compared to 2 years ago. What I bought tasted great, but not worth the price of what I received.

This location struggles with prep and maintaining ingredients or following instructions for orders. They never and I mean never have chili but will tell you that they do then ask if you'd like to substitute it as they are out after your purchase. Almost always have to remake my sandwich that I always order without cheese but always has cheese. I probably should stop giving this location the chance to prove me wrong.

I eagerly unwrapped the to-go package containing my Large Italian sandwich, imagining a mouthwatering creation filled with robust, spicy cold cuts. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment as I unveiled a meager assortment of thinly sliced meat resting on a bed of crisp lettuce and a few slices of tomatoes, all topped with unwanted onions. To add insult to injury, the two measly provolone cheese slices failed to even cover the sandwich, which was drowning in an excessive amount of dressing. The bread itself was dry and lacked any hint of freshness. The overwhelming presence of onions, which I had explicitly requested to be omitted, overpowered any trace of the meats flavor. If it werent for the considerable distance I had traveled from the store, I would have promptly returned it. Alas, it met its fate in the trash. While their menu held great potential, the sandwich business is fiercely competitive. Paying $14.00 for such a poorly assembled sandwich is not enough to earn my future patronage. This endeavor was a glaring failure in the realm of a supposedly simple sandwich.

Firehouse is the only sub place I can eat at! Tasty sandwhiches! Love this location, never disappoints!

I ordered at 7:12 no orders in front of me and its now 7:31 and Im still waiting for 2 subs. The 2 girls working are not even really communicating one is wearing an ear bud lets hope it dont fall out in my food. Finally got subs with no pickles in the boxes glad I asked for extra pickles before walking out so I atleast got some. As I was waiting 4 more people walked in neither of the workers offered a hello or welcome to fire house. They didnt even acknowledge any of them. These franchise owners need to understand 2 people just cant get the job done in a timely manner. Love these subs but but when there not made right its just not worth the wait. Subs were sloppy and bread was not toasted like it should be.
