I can say that the past 20 years of Upward Foundation has been nothing but excellent professional help for my two special needs children. My son Lil Corey, loved his time at upward, with circle time, one on one therapy, a nurse on hand who would visit the classroom to help with children with meds and G -tube, asthma- all that my son needed while in the program. They would always update us on his progress and would have meetings for therapy. I was able to help out or hang out with my son during his stay. They had group sessions that were fun for the kids, and the staff was super amazing. As for my daughter, she would have excellent therapy sessions, one on one and our therapist would meet for any helpful advise of what we could do to improve her walking. My favorite was the treadmill, using a Boyer lift to keep her legs moving and having the exercise equipment she will need to use for her strength in arms and legs. It was always fun sessions for both of our special needs children and Sharon Graham has been always helpful with our family! I have always suggested families with special needs children to try out all services they provide.
