Another disastrous followup on initial purchase of island grill, being forced to accept fire table in lieu of the original grill we never received in the timeline promised. The fire table was delivered 4 months later and although we were promised the table would be delivered with 8 swivel chairs, no chairs came with the table. Only after a serious confrontation with the company, did the chairs arrive the next day UNASSEMBLED!surprise, as the table we viewed at their show room, had assembled chairs.and We were not told at the time of the sale the the chairs would need to be assembled by us. It took approximately 45 minutes to assemble each chair! And to make matters worse, the first time our grandson stepped on the support rail to get up into the chair, it broke apart. Since then all but two of the chairs have had the leg support rails broken. We gave them to Good Will. Again WORST RETAIL PURCHASE WE HAVE EVER MADE. DO NOT BUY FROM BACKYARD ACCENTS. BIG MISTAKE!

Understanding todays current market conditions it is what it is, but it will also show you what a company is made of! From my personal experience if I had a chance to do it all over I wouldn't even hesitate to go with another company! We finally have what should have been delivered months and months ago. Did we get to use a floor model grill in the waiting period yes but the point is it should have never been delivered with a floor model grill in the first place. Do I feel I got my monies worth absolutely not! Would I recommend this company absolutely not. All the times I had emailed complaining about my experience not once did the owner take ownership and make the call, that tells a lot about a company. Do you're research and look at the last reviews and it will tell you a lot and hopefully help you make a better decision than we did! Look elsewhere is my recommendation!

Hard to reflect a positive picture when there is NO grill!!!! They selected delivery last Friday ..rescheduled our day to meet their needs & they didnt bother to show up. They rescheduled for Mondayrearranged our day did NOT show up no phone calls ..nothing. We called at 3, and found out it was another NO SHOW. Did not bother calling to let us know. Requested a return call - did not bother. At 3:30, 4 & 4:30 called ALL of their extensions & not a single person was available so left voice messages. NO return calls. Appalling customer service. We have scheduled over 30 people for grill dinner & our very vocal word of mouth will relay what we think of company while friends are eating pan fried/boiled burgers & dogs. Hopefully using this site and other social media will result in someone at company realizing as a minimum, customers deserve return calls & even better yet, an actual delivery on the date they selected not once but twice.

Shouldnt even be 1 Star. Absolutely the worst purchasing experience ever! No accountability, integrity, and especially NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! Do not purchase from this company! You will regret it!

I've had trouble getting any information from this company regarding my order. The office has been closed for weeks due to Covid-19. I understand the work at home order, make adjustments as most other businesses did.The V.M states they will be open on 04/30/2020. I've called several times and left voice mails starting in mid April. They returned my call one time in mid April only to say they would call me back and never did. I finally drove to the office today on 05/15/2020 to see if they were still in business. I found a gentleman sitting in a chair out front with 2 cell phones, told me he was in sales and the office would be open on Monday and come back. Not going back on Monday, I expect a call from this organization. Update your VM ( easy from anywhere), send an email to you customers, do something. This customer service experience is horrible. Not impressed 07-30-2020- Still no outdoor Kitchen from Kokomo. It turns out they started production without the signed line drawing with the addition of side burner. This was discussed in March 2020. I signed it on 03/09/2020. When they sent pictures prior to the install date of 08/01, I noticed the issue. They explained on 07-29-2020 the island was too short to have the grill , sink and side burner on the 7ft section. They could place it on the return section in the middle of the working space. I declined. Then they told me the island would need to be extended to 8ft to accommodate all 3 pieces and the roof would need to be extended 2 ft. They would call me back with a price for that revision. I asked for everything in writing, nothing in writing. I received a call from the salesperson on 07-30-2020 stating the could make it work on the 7 ft piece but it would be an additional $2800. This has been the worst experience, poorly managed, with no follow up or leadership. Still in the middle of this night mare.
