America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

It was a few years ago when I went there and I'll never go again. I had to pay cash so I was looking for a deal so 2 pairs of glasses and the exam for 65 bucks or so sounded like a winner to me. I assumed it would only be for certain cheap frames or whatever but I didn't even care. After the exam l'm told they charge extra for all of the little extras with the lenses, like I wanted one pair of tinted lenses. I'm a little bummed but I understand. No big deal. Then I was told that all of these years I had misunderstood the commercials. It's not an exam and 2 pairs of glasses for $65 total. It's free exam and frames for $65 each pair. Hmmmm. If I don't like it, I can pay over $100 for the exam I already did and leave. Am I the only person who misunderstood the commercials? I don't think I am.

My experience was absolutely positive. I had a Sunday appt., MY only day off work so I was thankful right away for a Sunday appointment available. Many other stores are closed on Sunday. From the second they opened their doors, on time I will also add, another plus, I was greeted with courtesy and professionalism. The doctor was also very informative and professional. Danny, the store manager, assisted me with the purchase end. HE WAS AWESOME. He assisted in choosing frames to fit best and was professional and knowledgeable and so kind. I loved his attention to my concerns and questions. He even saved me some money . Awesome. I also heard him with others and believe me, he was just as great with the others. Thank you Danny for a great and happy experience. I can't wait for my glasses to arrive. I will definitely be making this my store. 5 stars for sure.

We had a wonderful experience at the America's Best location at Spectrum Mall. The office staff there is really quite exceptional. They have a great selection of frames to choose from you can get two pair of glasses for as little as $69.95 which includes the exam. They accept most insurance plans, which brings to the reason for this review our vision tech Junior was really great we were having difficulty getting my insurance approved, and he really went the extra mile to try to get me approved. We got bounced to several departments over the phone, and even though he wasn't able to get me approved, we wound up getting two glasses for about the same cost as my deductible after utilizing a $50.00 off coupon which I had received in the mail. Thanks again, Junior, for being so helpful and not pressuring us with the upset and actually helping us save money. Please support our local businesses.
