Sunrise Villa Apartments

It is my third month living at the Sunrise Villas and I have to say it has checked nearly all the boxes on my “want” list for apartment living. It is an older but well kept complex in the Arcadia proper neighborhood tucked back at the end of a cul- de- sac just off Indian School. I couldn’t have asked for a better first apartment. I wasn’t looking to live in a large complex (anything over 20 units) and wanted something modest, in a good area, with basic amenities, and priced fairly. My one bedroom is spacious, has a great layout, air blows cold in the summer, offers plenty of natural light, and I get views of Camelback mountain from the bedroom, bathroom (shower window), dining room, and kitchen. The apartment interior still has some of the original finishes that give it extra character. Original tile countertops, cabinets, and cabinet hardware; all in good working order. Down to the pink square tiles in the bathroom. I am upstairs with 3 other neighbors and there are only 11 units in the complex (huge bonus) Grounds are well kept, the people here are nice, and quiet. Keep in mind, these apartments are old; with age comes ware. The floors in my unit creak and I’ve found walking light footed is the best way to get around. There is a small pool that is kept clean, maintenance/ landlord are onsite and available when you need them. (Photos are views from bedroom)

Very nice place. Terry the manager is a real sweety. Any problems with the apartment are fixed immediately. Very pleased

This is a quiet community that watches out for one another. Any complaints I saw in the reviews below have to do with poor tenant hygiene and cleaning of their own apartments. Pools are great
