Dwayne, I'm sorry you had a bad experience. We strive to make every customer experience a good one. I did look into this situation and first I will say, we apologize for the bolt issue a year ago. I wish it was brought to our attention back then because we like to make right of a wrong. Now with yesterdays situation, when we install a B&W companion hitch we always remove it out of it's box on the ground. We find it to be easier so I believe because you choose to install it yourself we were only setting it up in the same fashion so if that upset you we are sorry, it wasn't intentional. I heard you had refused the installation prior to getting the hitch due to the $50 charge but when you found out that there was more to the install you came up front and asked for us to do the installation. By that time all of our techs were involved in other customers jobs and we didn't have anyone available so our salesperson stated we would need to schedule you in another day. It was clear that you were upset about our unfortunate situation. When you were done installing the hitch you did leave the trash in our drive area and at no point did you ask someone what should be done with the trash. Sadly, it sounds like your frustration with the situation caused you to do something maybe you normally wouldn't have done. My techs have been known to be very helpful to customers so I can only guess that he was shocked that someone would leave their trash behind for someone else to clean up. We have been in business for over 55 years and pride ourselves on how much we appreciate our customers.
