My 83 year old father was going to be transported here from the hospital, at recommendation of his hospital case worker. I read the reviews and told them absolutely NOT! Now I read in the paper an RN crushed up oral medication and administered it though a patients picc line, he passed moments later! My father passed last Monday but I am thankful I demanded he go somewhere else. Thank you all for your reviews it helped me know caseworker doesnt mean they have to care about someone!

My husband was at Sante Mesa after suffering a stroke and being in Rehab. I saw an improvement and progression while he was at Sante. For us it was a gentle step in the right direction. Sante Mesa is a beautiful campus decorated in a Southwest theme and the Staff are incredibly caring and helpful. My husband was able to progress at Sante and be able to return home. Sante also provided me with peace of mind and rest from a long ordeal. Thank you Sante!

I was in Sant for about 2+ months total. The final straw was when my sister found me nonresponsive. They claimed things to her that were not true. I lost about 85 lbs in the 2+ months I was there. My A1C dropped drastically in that time also. Make sure you're doing your homework.

My wife fractured a vertebrae in her back and after a hospital stay was transferred to your rehab facility. She received excellent care for the 21 days she was there. The OT and PT staff were very professional as well as being friendly and always willing to help. The nursing and Caregiver staff were always there to assist or answer our questions. They prepared her well to make the transition back home. Thank you all for your efforts on her behalf.

My mother was sent to Sante of Mesa and when she arrived they did not have her listed as a fall risk. Yes, this is a result of the hospital not sending over orders correctly, but when I called the nurse was incredibly rude and belittling me. I simply called to get clarification that there wasn't any way they could do any type of railing as she is a fall risk She stated "this not a hotel she doesn't just get to say what she wants". I clearly know this is not a hotel, and to speak that way while you are "caring" for a human is just plain disrespectful. I understand that she needs a doctors order but this is to prevent her from being injured in the meantime. They don't have an on call doctor or an available doctor to see her till Monday. I am just disappointed in the interactions.
