I stayed here twice, sorry to say. The last time some Mexican guy was going up & down to all the rooms in the wee hours, knocking on doors (occupied or not) and asking for somebody in Spanish. Very insistent. I stood there by the door, buck knife in hand till he left. Other than that the place was filthy, smelly, buggy, sticky, unheated and falling apart. A pox on the name Route 66. I stayed there once before, early 90's, it was $15 and in better shape.
