    Rented a side by side in August for the day. Picked up and rented trailer with it. Spare belt given to take along. Advised at pick up of needing 8mm socket if belt breaks, to replace it. Was not told prior to early am pickup. Rental loaded and sounded rough then, employee present and said nothing. Once at park, after less than 30 minutes on roads, not on trails yet “check engine” light came on. Was able to contact shop and they advised belt was bad according to code. Fortunately truck going by had tools to change belt, paid guys $30 for the help. Afterwards rental sounded much better. Continued for rest of day on road and trails with no belt issues, and sounded much better. Front passenger door opened on own several times when being driven, and seatbelts were all not staying locked from beginning, and had to be cleaned out initially and after. At end of day when cleaning belongings out found an envelope in glove box with belt changing accessories, wet and rusty but there. No one mentioned them there. Paid extra at rental to have company clean when returned. Dropped off without issue. Two days later got call that they found damage in front end, had never seen anything like it before, and would have to follow up with manufacturer. I advised it sounded better after we changed belt, but had no issues other than seatbelt and door. Company advised they had changed belt out rental prior to ours, they check belt every time before it goes out. Also said that when they have 5 to 20 units going out everyday they don’t have time to review everything with everyone on use, and the belt kit in glove box. Bad belt appeared to have multiple bad spots when replaced, and with new one we drove rougher areas/trails, 2 and 4 wheel drive, for 8 hours approximately and never had any issues with belt. Got bill for belt later, no other repair charges. Have requested copy of contract signed at pick up twice now, several weeks apart and they said would send, but did not receive. Last time was October 26th. My bad for not getting copy at initial pick up. Note on door at pick up did say they no longer accept units for repair there anymore.

    You pay for what you get, and they have good quality equipment. We rented after a weekend when the side by sides had just gotten back from a rough weekend. A cable broke on us when we off loaded and the morning was delayed for that and slow loading. They took care of us, gave a free upgrade for the old timers and a late return time. This really helped us makeup for the down time and we had a good trip.
