Dr Wennen was great to work with. Very personable and made sure I understood all involved with my procedure. His staff is also amazing. I'm so glad I found a surgeon I can trust, considering my extensive medical issues and recently moving to Alaska. My pain has been minimal and he is always available for questions. Great Dr!

We’ve been patients for over 20 years. Best skilled surgeon in the Alaska area, friendly, precise. We don’t live in Ak. anymore and can see the best in San Francisco or Nashville and we CHOSE to return to Dr. Wennen for anything we may need. Old school, perfectionist, they broke the mold when he finished Med school. I’ve never know anyone to ever have a bad experience. You won’t be sorry, best in Alaska!

This place epitomizes ripoff. First of all, they charge $197 for a consult (I did extensive research online and couldn't find a single surgeon, even the ones in high end areas, who charge more than 100 dollars), and it doesn't even go towards surgery (again, couldn't find another surgeon who didn't have this policy in place). I was hoping to get breast augmentation, not expecting to having to dish out more than $7,000 MAXIMUM. I meet with the doctor, and for breast augmentation alone (no health conditions or bizarre circumstances apply to me), it was going to be $8300!!! so with the consult that would be 8500, just to go a couple of sizes up! After realizing how ridiculously priced this was, I decided I'd just get a nipple reduction (breastfeeding had a strange effect on my arreola, one became larger than the other), so I wanted to have this corrected and just leave it at that. I couldn't find a single patient anywhere in the states who paid more than 3,000 dollars for the procedure (anesthesia and everything included), on both sides, and it seemed that the average was about 1500 - 2000, with many people stating that 3k was overpriced. Well, I got a letter saying that for ONE side, it was going to be $3400!! and that was just the surgeon's fee, so total we're talking at least four grand! probably more, and with the consult, well, thats got to be around 4200 at the least. Just to snip a little pink off! Outrageously priced, I'm not sure if I was being scammed because they believed me to be ignorant, or if being located in the middle of nowhere means no competition and they can rack up the price however they like. You're better off flying elsewhere.
