Great Doctor and surgeon! Saw him five years ago about my knee. I returned when my shoulder started hurting. He fixed my rotator cuff in September and I'm just about back to normal. Back again in February 2024 fell and broke my wrist. Didn't have to have surgery. Was in brace type cast for 6 weeks now off to physical therapy for a month.

Dr. Tamai is kind, and caring. HONEST!!! Explains everything, in a way the lamen can understand. If it wasn't for him I don't believe I'd be able to walk. For 8 weeks McKinley Orthopedics said that there was nothing wrong with my ankle/foot/leg. I should have had surgery the day after the accident. Dr. Tamai had a mess to work with, I would trust anyone but him! If he cannot do a stellar job he will refer you to another surgeon that can take great care of you! Honest!!

Dr Tamai met me at his office and explained everything in great detail. He was obviously sincere in his questions and receiving my answers and showed empathy for the pain in which has been suffering. He did great work, follow up visits were/are good. He arranged my Physical Therapy with an excellent provider and I am well on the path to a full recovery. I already have more mobility than pre surgery only 2 months ago. (rotator cuff, bicep repair) I would highly recommend Dr Tamai but his staff as well. All were a pleasure to work with but hope I never see them again!

Highly recommend Dr Tamai. Very professional, friendly, and willing to take the time to discuss all of your concerns. Friendly, efficient, office staff.
