Avis Car Rental

Really surprised by the these reviews but the they are dated. The agent was getting ready to leave but she stopped to helped me. i told her I scheduled to pick up because I did not expect them to be open when arrived. She got us our car and even showed us where it was. I never got this kind of service from any car rental. When renting a car you need to take the context of the times, etc. Yes people are tired when they arrive because flights can be long unless your are flying from other cities within Anchorage....but to get this service at 2:30 a.m. - I am so grateful.

If you want instant regret rent a car from here. They don’t answer their phones. The car needed an oil change less than 5 miles after driving it. We hit a small rabbit and it put the smallest crack on the front bumper and we got charged over 1500$ for the repair and they wouldnt provide us with any information to give to our rental insurance company. They are a horrible company. I’d rather pay an extra $200 than to never use them again.

Considered an offline site, short staffed and very hectic. Car we had was great, but the mileage was way off on pickup which made it look as though we drove 4k miles in 6 days (we didn't).
