Would definitely recommend Smart Start to anyone looking to install an ignition interlock. Called them up on a Thursday to see about an installation on Friday, they were very helpful and even had the vehicle dropped off to me at my home. Walked me through the procedure and made sure I understood protocols while also giving me some tips on what to avoid to ensure I didnâ€™t blow a fail. They are a family business and were very courteous and friendly.
To compare, I called Intoxalock (not locally owned) and they quoted me about $200 more to get started and the monthly cost was almost identical. They also werenâ€™t able to do an installation for a week at earliest. Make sure you get quotes, but for me, Iâ€™m happy I went with a locally owned company like Smart Start.
