Hogfish Grille

Family and I have eaten at hogfish many times. Our kid loves the fish tank. Service is top notch. Food is some of the best around. A little secret, their gumbo and prime rib will blow your mind. We always go a little earlier for dinner but parents have been later in the evening and said they never have any issues getting seated quickly. Worth the short drive for the experience.

Wed. 2-15 at noon. Stood at hostess station for 10 minutes, while the hostess scrambled around various tables, bringing beverages, bussing tables and delivering food... the single waitress on duty was scrambling too. Apparently the cook called in sick, the credit card machine was down, and not ONE of 3 owners were anywhere to be found... no where in the building! They were out of many wines and bottled beers and out of OYSTERS. YOU wanted our time, on my husbands birthday... I felt so sorry for your employees. The 30 minute wait time drove plenty of business away... I heard a cash register CHA-CHING as each, would be patron, left in disgust. We were there for 45 minutes and got a beer.... no food. I commented to the incoming patrons, that this place doesnt have any staff, so they left too. Dont go here... dont even try it. 3 owners, no pride or work ethic between them.
