Oren was very helpful to me at this location, assisting me in making a wire transfer and walking me through the whole process. Even in middle of this pandemic it was a good experience and I look forward to continuing to do business at this branch.

With the lobby closed, I expected all three lanes open or fast service with the single lane that was open. You can't let a customer sit in line for 10 minutes knowing the lobby is closed and those of us who only have time on our lunch breaks to handle business. And if someone happens to come in behind you, you're stuck as there's no way to move at this location. Not a happy customer at all.

I informed the banker I was from another state, and had questions pertaining my account. Trupti Patel, the banker, continuously gave me the runaround. I had shown proof of my gov't ID, the acct #, SSN card, passport, and BB&T card. She still asked me questions that were irrelevant to the account. She left me sitting to speak with K. Hall, branch manager, for over 10 minutes with my ID. When she came back she proceeded to tell me I could not tell her proof of who was my employer. I informed her she just lied. Not only did I tell her, but I pulled up my check stub showing both the employer and administrator. My employer was not listed as the company who deposited my money, it was listed under the administrator. They still proceeded to give me the runaround, stating there was a note on my account, but the department was closed so they were unable to reach them. I inquired about the department, and from what company. Instead of giving an answer, Trupti said she could do nothing.
In the end after at least 45 minutes, of giving me the runaround, she closed the account as I requested. Crazy thing about all of this, I was not trying to withdraw money. My goal was to close one account, and transfer the money to the other to have one account.
I will eventually close this account, and proceed with another bank. BB&T is not customer service driven.

I went to the Hoover branch on John Hawkins to see if they could provide copies of checks. I had statements, ID, documents to prove my authority to request this information. I was denied because I did not have the request on letterhead. We are a nonprofit community management organization with no office, no employees, and no letterhead. I feel they went out of the way to deny my requests for the information. The lady I dealt with, Takeisha, was uncooperative, and appeared to look for obstacles in working with me.
