Beyond disappointed in Grandview Emergency Room. Took my elderly mother there March 2022 (second unsuccessful visit in a year). Waiting room had filthy linens, q- tips, food items on the floor and in the bathroom. We were there for 7 1/2 hours and not one person came around to clean up area. Last visit they ran up $32k on Medicare for my Moms UTI. This visit they started all the major testing before an actual MD laid eyes on her. Not until I spoke up did they take action to get her face to face with an MD. Yes know healthcare practitioners work so hard everyday and Grandview has some good ones, but this ER is a place I never want to take my Mom back to, sadly.

My friend and I have been here since 2pm and it is now 9:27pm. They haven't even got her lab results back. However they took her IV out so it is obvious they don't plan to keep her! Do not come here!!! They have helped everyone except my friend who was sent over from her PCP office because she couldn't complete the visit due to vomiting!!! This is the worst service I have recently at a hospital and trust me... I have seen terrible hospitals. If you or your loved ones need help this is not the place!!! And the worst part is is that i hear the doctor refusing to come see her when the nurse requests him!! He's arrogant and insensitive to patients and their health!!! Definitely chose the wrong career path Doc! His name is Dr Argo and I would advise all to go the other way if he is providing service to you!!!

Terrible! I took my girlfriend to the Grandview ER due to intense stomach pain. She had been vomiting and even threw up in the Grandview ER bathroom. The front desk lady asked for her ID and insurance while trying to process other people also. Basically, the front desk woman was overworked with no help. Why would there only be one receptionist at an ER front desk?? THEN, to make things worse we get into a room and the doctor finally checks on my girlfriend only to make a conclusion that she probably has a stomach bug and she was discharged 2 hours later. In fact, it was acute appendicitis and we found out after getting a 2nd opinion from a gastroenterologist specialist. We were properly treated elsewhere!

Went to the ER with Left arm numbness and chest pain at 2:30 pm, got a blood pressure check, and an ekg, at 5:27 i got my blood work drawn, and sent back out to the waiting room, and waited more in the waiting room, called me back again at 9:30 and did the same blood work, sent me back to the waiting room. At 10:47 i walked up and asked to leave and they told me i was next on the list to have a room, took me back to a room at 11:26 and a PA came in and asked me whats been going on today and said all you blood work came in and your good to be discharged. Was in the hospital room for 13 minutes. There for 9 hours in the waiting room for 13 mins and be discharged...... and when i got back there all the nurses were estanding in a circle talking about how they cant wait to eat the Jim n nicks cheese biscuits. Just very unprofessional if you asked me for someone waiting in the ER waiting room for 9 hours with chest pain... do not go to this hospital
