Planned Parenthood - Tacoma Health Center

Editing this review. My first time there for hpv vax experienced a hater front staff, second time for testing , smooth sailing, and nurses and arnp's in the back are awesome, as always.

Such a good experience, yall gotta stop reviewing only negative experiences. I went in for a check up and everyone was so informed, so nice, so genuine. I made an app online, super easy. From the front desk to leaving I felt completely taken care of. Unfortunately I dont remember their names but all the women were doing their damn jobs RIGHT!!!

It was alright but I had two ladys working to remove and reinsert my birth control implant. The one lady seemed to be having trouble taking too long so the other decided to remove it which was strange I dont get why she just didnt do it in the first place instead of having me up there for so long. I ended up going to the ER the next morning because I was experiencing a type of toxic shock from whatever they had done. Throwing up over 6 times in the night and had to be put on meds and fluids in the hospital. Never experienced that with my first insertion, was very strange to me.

Going in to this planned parenthood today at 3:30pm was the worst experience ever. The employees at the front desk were very rude and unhelpful. Then when I asked about doing community service hours there because it's a non-profit organization they started to laugh at me and the other person looked at me like I was stupid. I would NEVER recommend this planned parenthood to anybody. If I could give zero stars I would.

It is way too loud. They have the TV and radio!! Turned up so loud. The women at that front counter are either rude or you can hear them. Because I made the appointment I checked the insurance and they said it is rejected. Clearly the people here aren't properly trained on how to do their job. Also I wouldn't bother showing up early because they are always behind.
