This disheartens me to write this review because in the past I have had nothing but a great experience at this branch. I am literally known by name with most of the tellers/security guard because this is my neighborhood branch. I have never had any issues with any of the tellers questioning my transactions. Until today teller "Rachel" Teller ID #37296 assumed that my insurance check was fraudulent without doing her due diligence to research before asking me the question "was I expecting this check" assuming that my check was fraudulent mind you I have been depositing this check with the same amount for well over a year now due to a work-related injury. The way she spoke to me was very condescending with suspicion and I REALLY BELIEVE that because of who I identify as she felt the need to question my deposit. NAVY FEDERAL PLEASE GET RID OF THE BAD APPLE because she will rotten them all! Since teller Wendy and Aman has left the branch the customer service has gone downhill dramatically, they have a high turnover rate and staff are not well trained.

Navy Federal wrongfully gave my money to the government contrary to their own written instructions.  BE CAREFULWhen I opened my IRA Account February 2021, I filled out the Navy Federal form regarding Required Mandatory Distributions (RMD).  The form has a box stating "NO WITHHOLDING" for federal and state taxes.  I checked the "no withholding" box and the form was signed by the Navy Federal banker.  In December 2021, Navy Federal withheld Federal and State Taxes (removed them from my account).  I went back to Navy Federal and they said  something was put into my account so it wouldn't happen again.  Now again in the end of December 2022, Navy Federal again gave my money to the government contrary to the form they had me sign.  NAVY FEDERAL SAID THEY CANNOT GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY THEY GAVE AWAY BECAUSE IT'S TOO LATE  AND THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT!  Navy Federal just told me to have my accountant file forms to get back my money.  In other words, I should pay my accountant to fix their error.
