In begining I liked Dr Murphy but his staff got into with me on the phone I mean RUDE idiots ...Sooo I cussed at them !! My loved one is my life !! Sooo next visit Dr repremends me in front of my loved one I'm taking care of ....bahaaa what a joke !!! Over the employee up front ....he says ....don't be rude to my staff I can't keep good help lmao!! Are you kidding me ....your staff is why people complain you m moron....Anyhow one more surgery than we are done there ..thank God ..And also He operates at horrific St Mary's hospital in Russellville !! A very redneck hospital...just saying....

Did cataract surgery on my grandma and she couldn't see for months afterwards. He broke off a piece of the machine in her eye during the surgery. He's ridiculously rude and won't answer questions. The wait for your appointment is about 4 hours. Absolutely would not recommend!

Hes extremely thorough. He caught things previous eye doctors never noticed. I wish I had went to him many years sooner. With multiple eye issues I cant afford someone overlooking anything.
Update- He did my glaucoma surgery ,multifocal lens and cataract surgery. I went from not being able to see the room when I woke up each day since I was about 14 to being able to see details in everything! No glasses now at age 51! Amazing

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This man wanted to do 4 procedures that would total to several thousand dollars on my 92 year old grandmother that were TOTALLY UNNECESSARY. We went to get a second opinion and the other Dr. ran several tests and said there was absolutely no reason to do those surgeries. This man was also INCREDIBLY RUDE at our appointment. Luckily we had such a bad feeling about him we went to someone else to get a second opinion. I would not recommend Dr. Murphy to anyone. Make yourself an appointment with someone else.
