Red Lion Hotel Pendleton

I have stayed at this hotel twice. There is not a pile of selection in Pendleton, but is better than most going east on the I-84. Especially if you are travelling with a dog like I was. It is a large and basic overall hotel. Kind of a strange or unique layout. It is easy to find off the interstate as a driver can see it. A pile of parking for any vehicle big or small. It also a very quiet hotel. It works for an overnight stay or if you are around Pendleton for even 4 days. The reason I am giving 5 stars is the fee for a dog is rather affordable at $15. The staff went out of their way to even drop the fee as I never brought that up when I checked in. That was very nice of them. There is also a lot of grass and a good designated area for your dog to check the outdoors.

Rooms were . They still advertise the restaurant ( not open since 2021). I asked about coffee was told they don't make coffee until 5 am . Man at fro t desk was very rude about it.

Very large clean room, comfortable beds, staff incredibly accomodating, Russell makes a mean pot of coffee to get you jump started for the day and Tom who also worked the front desk was so pleasant, such a nice change from the many other hotel/motels we stay in on our travels, we will definitely be staying here again!
