Great community. Super convenient area in Pasadena. Neighbors are super nice. Management team rocks. Maintenance team gets any repairs handled very quickly. Definitely enjoy living here.

UPDATE: While some of the security concerns have been addressed, I am still unable to recommend this apartment complex to new residents, particularly if you have the bad luck of living in Building 4. Fairfield Residential will not pay to have one of the two elevators fixed. It has been broken and unusable for at least half a year. Today (2/9/24), we received an email stating that the other working elevator is now broken, leaving residents like me living on high floors inconvenienced to say the least. We must also walk outside of the building and across the block and into another building and then back through just to be able to access our parking area with the elevators both broken. Having once worked on staff for a building where the elevator required repair, I'm aware of how expensive it is. It's clear Fairfield Residential is making a calculated effort not to spend the money to fix the elevator that has been broken for months and months. **Original Review* I've lived here for 5 years, generally pleased entirely with the experience. However, as of Summer 2022, I *cannot* recommend it to new residents. The parking garages have become genuinely scary with respect to break-ins, thefts, and burglaries. The office staff is very sympathetic, and I appreciate them. However, Avalon Corporation is clearly not prioritizing increased security, which is particularly galling considering the high rent. There are NO cameras on the residential levels of the parking garage, and there are obvious gaps in the security guard patrol. Admittedly, I am writing this review as a last resort to get something done, after just submitting my 3rd police report in the 5 years I've lived here. I will update this review if this changes.
