Embassy Suites by Hilton Palmdale

I officiated a wedding here and the space was perfect for the intimate ceremony. The guests loved the bar, the hotel is nice and clean and the staff is friendly.

Rooms: Great suite with lots of room. Could use more towels and hangers though.

I did not have a good stay here at all, I think it would have been easier to swallow if it was 2 or 3 items but there were too many flaws to not do a review and I am not a review kind of person. The hot tub heater is broken ( I was told it was highly likely it would be fixed by the next day however when I found out that wasn't the case I checked out the next day) The USB charger didn't work at the desk, the heater in the room would not work, its face plate came right off the control panel and had no working buttons in it so I had to use my daughters sucker stick (noy eaten sucker) to push the internal button just to turn on heat, the next morning I took my shower to find a pipe above my head stuffed with toilet paper, when I turned around in the shower I seen the wall paper peeling from water damage and they fixed it with a stapler, the bathroom sink faucet handle leaked water when I turned it on. However the most upsetting part of the stay was the phone call with the GM, I was told by another Hilton to call and request the 1st night to be comped, when I did so I was met by a terrible phone call with the gentleman. He kept telling me I was wrong etc. etc. he told me he wasn't comping the room which honestly if I wasn't met with hostility right at the beginning of the phone call I would of been fine with. He told me I received points for the night I told him I would probably not use the points and I would prefer to trade them for cash and he continued to tell me in an aggressive manner that he was not going to come the room. I ended the phone call so upset due to the way the man talked to me. I promptly called Hilton customer care # and they took down all this information and informed me that once the points were added there was nothing they could do and that information was good enough for me. If the man would have approached the phone call with less aggression and explained that I would have been fine with it and gone about my business however that wasn't the route he decided to take and had taken aggression against me that not even my husband takes, it was shocking and honestly was the finishing touch to me giving the hotel a terrible review. I do not recommend staying here. Oh, however the restaurant was AMAZING 10/10
